Ski Mountaneering introduction weekend

To experience the thrill of reaching a summit with your own legs and leaving the first track on fresh snow. Surrounded  by winter nature and with a Dolomite view.
Anyone can learn ski mountaineering, we only required a good skiing technique and desire to get involved!

 

PROGRAMME:

Friday: meeting in the late afternoon for a couple of hours of theory, material check and briefing with introduction to avlanche self-rescue nivology.

Saturday: Ski mountaineering excursion (the itinerary depends on the level of the participants). We will talk about technique and materials, in the afternoon ARTVA teaching test on the snow and plannin of a skimo trip. Expected return at 4.30 pm.

Sunday: half-day ski mountaineering excursion.

Expected return at 1.00 pm.

 

Prices:

Private course 2 people: total 380€ per person.

Course with min. 3 max. 5 people: total 280€ per person.

Prices include UIAGM Mountain Guide and safety equipment (kit arva, shovel and probe).

The participants must show up with their own ski mountaineering material (skis, poles, skins and boots). Participants must be able to ski on red slopes.
