Via ferrata extreme level
Ferrata or climbing ?! It’s hard to say which category the extreme via ferratas belongs to. Very vertical and physical passages make it much more similar to a climbing route, since the use of holds for hands and feet becomes indispensable. It is important to have a good technical and physical preparation.

Note: hiking clothes and trekking shoes/boots required. The via ferrata-kit is provided for free by the Mountain Guides. Packet lunch or lunch at the mountain hut is not included. Any use of lifts is not included in the price. Meeting point, return and altitude gap: according to the scheduled via ferrata.
Adel climbing hall
Climbing Hall – in and outdoor!
A part from climbing on natural rocks, you can enjoy the experience of climbing by the NEW CLIMBING HALL in Ischia area in Campitello di Fassa, next to Col Rodella lift station.
The climbing wall “ADEL” is dedicated to the 4 Fassa Alpine Rescue volunteers who died on the 26th December 2009 in the avalanche of Val Lasties (Alessandro Dantone, Diego Perathoner, Erwin Riz and Luca Prinoth).
The brand-new, cutting-edge climbing facility is composed of an external part equipped for top roping and lead climbing, divided into two sectors: the first one is characterized by an height of 17 m and a climbing surface of more than 600 sq m; the second one, patented for speed climbing contests, is 15 m high with a climbing surface of 150 sq m. The indoor part hosts a wide boulder area of 260 climbing square meters.
Adults and children can try the thrill of climbing !

Until the middle of June and from the beginning of September: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 4.00 to 10.00 pm.
From the middle of June to the beginning of September: Everyday from 2.00 to 10.00 pm.

Let’s try indoor climbing with the Mountain Guides: (Only during summer season)
If you have never experienced rock-climbing and do not have the specific climbing gear, the Alpine Guides will be present at ADEL to help you und give you some useful technical advice, every afternoon from 5.30 to 7.30 pm.
Promotional Price: 5€ per 1 ascent, 10€ per 2 ascents, 12€ per 3 ascents.

From Monday to Friday you will climb on the best Val di Fassa practice crags. Final ascent to Torri del Vajolet.
PROGRAMME:
1st day
Meeting point: at 8.00 am at the Mountain Guides’ office.
Transfer to the climbing crag, we will learn how to use the equipment, (belay systems, knots, climbing technique, movements etc.).
Expected return: about 2.00 pm.
2nd day
Meeting point: at 8.00 am at the Mountain Guides’ office.
Transfer to the climbing crag: climbing session on different terrains (dihedral, plaque, chimney, overhanging) rappelling lesson, with safety rope, knots and safety systems.
Expected return: about 2.00 pm.
3rd day
Meeting point: at 8.00 am at the Mountain Guides’ office.
Transfer to the climbing crag: the mountain guide will chose the best spot depending on the level you reached and on the weather conditions. Review of climbing techniques, belaying systems, rapelling in safety, climbing progression, etc.
Expected return: about 2.00 pm.
4th day
Meeting point: at 8.00 am at the Mountain Guides’ office.
The guide will check the packpacks and material, in order to to face the last two days of the course.
Transfer to the mountain guides’ crag located near the Vajolet refuge: general review of all techniques, lunch break and transfer to Re Alberto Refuge, located at the feet of Vajolet Towers. We will spend the night there.
5th day
Breakfast. We will climb on the Vajolet towers and after come back to the refuge for lunch. We will be back in the valley around 4.00 pm.
All the participants will receive a diploma. Final toast!
Other information:
In case of bad weather conditions it is possible to carry out the lesson in the ADEL climbing hall. Otherwise we can make up the missed day on Saturdays. If one of the five days will be missed, due to force majeure, the day lost will be reimbursed. The final climb can vary according to the capacities of the students and weather conditions. The final climb can be done on different mountains: Sella group, Pordoi, Roda di Vael etc.
The overnight stay at the refuge is not compulsory and it is not included in the price.

Winter via ferrata
Climbing along a via ferrata in winter is undoubtedly an unforgettable adventure. We will face easy passages on rock and ice aided by the cable and we will get closer to winter mountaineering, with its severe environment, technical equipment and difficult terrain. Of course it is a demanding experience, but it ensures magnificent views, adrenaline and above all great satisfaction.
Every Saturday or other days on request.
Price: from 100€ per person (maximum 2 participants).

The price includes via ferrata equipment and crampons.
Difficulty: medium-difficult. Minimum age 12 years.
Approach to ice climbing
Test day to learn how to use the equipment and how to do the first easy ascents on small ice falls.
Price: starting from 110€ per person (min. 3 people) for the whole day.

Ice climbing introduction weekend course
Ice climbing course for all those who have never used crampons and ice axes on vertical ice and wish to approach the magical world of ice waterfalls.
The goal will be learning the basic techniques to move safely on ice falls.
Programme:
Saturday: meeting with the guide and check of materials. First day dedicated to safety, knots, basic ice climbing technique on slab.
Sunday: review of basic technique and introduction of climb on vertical ice. Use of protections, construction of anchors with ice screws and v-threads.
Cost: €260 per person. From 3 to 5 people.
€360 per person for 2 people.
The price includes Mountain Guide, transport and technical material if needed (harness, helmet, ice axes and crampons).

Departure for the crag, vision and use of materials, way of binding, knots, insurance systems, climbing progression and analysis of basic movements, descent position.

2nd day:
Meeting at 8.00 am Sport Check Point Pozza or Canazei
Transfer to the crag: climbing lesson on the various terrains (dihedral, plaque, chimney and corner), lesson of rappelling, with second safety rope, review of the knots and security systems.

3rd day:
Meeting at 8.00 am Sport Check Point Pozza or Canazei
Let’s put what we learned into the first two days into practice !!

Approach to ski mountaineering
Getting to know another aspect of the ski-world! We offer the possibility to try this beautiful discipline for the first time! The planned tours are focused on learning how to use the equipment, improving off-piste ascent and descent techniques and learning how to use the safety devices.
